At the age of fourteen Anthony was hired on his first job working at  the LaGrange Community Action For Improvement (CAFI) cleaning the offices.  During his teenage years he worked on a numbers of jobs such as, LaGrange Truck Stop, Kroger, Chevrolet Dealership, and Textile work.             Attending the Memphis School of Preaching was truly a blessing from the Lord, there is no greater blessing than being involved in the work of the Lord. While living in Memphis Anthony became the Assistant Minister of the Carpenter Street Church of Christ, where Brother Kenneth R. Wallace was the Minister. The Lord has used Anthony in His service to preach and teach in many different places and on many different occasions such as in Gospel Meetings, Lectureships, Workshops, Youth Programs, Radio, Television Programs,  and many other ways that have been a blessing to him and to those with whom he has come in contact.

Anthony gives credit to his good and godly parents for being his greatest source of inspiration in life.  They were members of the Wright Street Church of Christ in LaGrange, Georgia when he was born. Anthony’s mother and father taught he and his siblings to “Remember thy Creator In The Days of Thy Youth”. Anthony and his siblings were brought up in a Christian home, Anthony and all his siblings are faithful members of the Lord Church because of their godly parents.  Anthony believes he would not have accomplished what he has been blessed to do in life without his mother and father, he will be ever grateful to God for blessing him to have them in his life.
